We do not have licensed inspectors. We simply provide footage to be presented to a professional inspector. High Point Imaging is both licensed and insured. Drone activities that are deemed anything other than "recreational" requires an FAA -Federal Aviation Administration - Part 107 license. Whether they are charging for the service or not, a Part 107 license becomes needed for anything other than "recreational" flight. Commercial sUAS (Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems) is heavily regulated. Commercial sUAS operations require FAA authorization and permission that are granted by a case-by-case basis. Our RPIC - Remote Pilot In Charge can apply for flight authorization in the field. In real time. We will know if we are able to fly within minutes of requesting a flight authorization. Flight operations will be dictated by current weather and atmospheric conditions as well as any current flight restrictions in place at the flight location. Just because it's pretty outside, doesn't mean there isn't the presence of other factors that may not allow the flight to be conducted. The FAA at anytime may designate sUAS operations for an area OFF LIMITS. Being with the proximity to New Orleans International Airport, The Lakefront Airport, and the city of New Orleans itself, the ability to fly sUAS can change at a moment's notice.
A sUAS is considered an aircraft. We are not the only aircraft in the sky. There are rules in place to keep all aircraft in the sky flying safely.

FYI, did you know that during an event at Superdome/Arena can designate a 3 mile area as a no fly zone for sUAS? It's TRUE!
